Vietnam Talent Attractiveness Assessment

Against the backdrop of globalization and rapid economic development, Vietnam’s economic and social environment is attracting more and more international talents. Assessing the attractiveness of Vietnam’s industrial parks to various types of talents will not only help the government and enterprises formulate more effective policies and strategies, but also help the industrial parks optimize their environment, enhance their attractiveness, and thus promote economic development.

1. Evaluation Dimensions

1.1 Living facilities (weight 30%)

Housing conditions: Housing supply in the park and its surrounding areas, including staff dormitories and commercial housing.

Medical facilities: Medical resources in and around the park, such as hospitals, clinics, and emergency facilities.

Educational resources: including international schools, local public schools, and vocational training institutions.

Leisure and entertainment facilities: such as gyms, cinemas, parks, and shopping malls.

Public transportation: transportation connections between the park and the city center, airport, and port.

1.2 Career development opportunities (weight 30%)

Industry development prospects: the main industries in the park and their development potential.

Quantity and quality of enterprises: the number, scale and industry status of enterprises in the park.

Compensation levels: Comparison with national and industry averages.

Promotion opportunities: promotion channels and career development paths within the company.

Training and learning opportunities: training programs and learning opportunities provided by the company.

Entrepreneurship support: Entrepreneurship incubators, venture capital support and policy preferences within the park.

1.3 Working environment (weight 20%)

Office conditions: the degree of modernization and comfort of office facilities.

Park infrastructure: including the reliability of infrastructure such as electricity, network, and water supply.

Green environment: the greening rate and degree of environmental beautification within the park.

Air quality: The air pollution index in the park and its surroundings.

Noise control: Noise management measures within the park.

1.4 Policy support (weight 10%)

Talent introduction policy: talent introduction plan provided by the government and the park.

Tax incentives: preferential policies such as personal income tax reduction and exemption.

Housing subsidy: Housing subsidy or low-interest loan provided to talents.

Children’s education support: Education support and benefits provided to employees’ children.

1.5 Cultural atmosphere (weight 10%)

Innovation atmosphere: the innovation culture of enterprises in the park and measures to support innovation.

Degree of internationalization: the proportion and degree of internationalization of foreign-funded enterprises in the park.

Work-life balance: The company’s work schedule and life balance policy.

Social Network: Social activities and community support within the campus.

Each sub-item is scored on a scale of 1-5:

1 point – Very poor

2 points – Poor

3 points – Average

4 points – Good

5 points – Excellent
