Franchise Model for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Vietnam

Background of Electric Vehicle Charging Station Development in Vietnam

V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company has recently become the pioneer in the franchise model for electric vehicle charging stations in Vietnam. This marks a significant breakthrough in Vietnam’s green transformation. Through this model, V-GREEN, along with many partners, is driving the green development of a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations.

V-GREEN actively responds to the “Indomitable Vietnamese Spirit—Creating a Green Future Together” initiative, aiming to accelerate the construction of charging stations across Vietnam. The company is committed to expanding this sector through the franchise model and hopes to collaborate with private enterprises to open new business areas, thereby increasing the coverage of charging stations and contributing to green travel in Vietnam.

Detailed Introduction of the Franchise Model

V-GREEN’s franchise model is primarily based on the concept of “Businesses and People Moving Forward Together.” Through franchising, the company aims to accelerate the greening of electric vehicle charging stations nationwide by partnering with others. V-GREEN’s franchised charging stations, as well as those invested by V-GREEN, will serve owners of VinFast electric cars and electric motorcycles (expected to reach 300,000 and 1 million by 2025, respectively).

V-GREEN commits to offering a fixed rate of 750 VND per kilowatt-hour (approximately 0.21 RMB) to its partners for at least 10 years. The company also provides support for operation management, financial management, maintenance, and marketing. By joining V-GREEN’s “Green Network,” partners only need to invest in equipment and infrastructure to ensure the proper functioning of the charging stations. They can also increase their income by providing car care, shopping, entertainment, and other services while customers wait for their vehicles to charge.

V-GREEN’s Position in the Electric Vehicle Market in Vietnam

As the company currently holding the largest network of electric vehicle and motorcycle charging stations in Vietnam, V-GREEN plans to build 150,000 charging stations across 63 provinces and cities. It promises to invest 10 trillion VND (nearly 3 billion RMB) in the next two years to construct, upgrade, and improve the charging station network, further expanding its national coverage. This strategy will significantly promote the development of electric transportation in Vietnam and provide electric vehicle users with more convenient charging experiences.

V-GREEN’s General Director, Nguyễn Thành Dương, stated, “V-GREEN franchised charging stations represent an innovative business model that is expected to make a positive contribution to the robust development of electric vehicles in Vietnam. I believe this model will open new business opportunities, helping franchised charging station investors achieve stable, attractive, and growing income while contributing to the country’s green transformation future.”
